１．） Ｂｅ ｃｏｎｆｉｄｅｎｔ， Ａｄｍｉｔ ｙｏｕ ｈａｖｅ ｔａｌｅｎｔ．
You don’t always have to bring yourself down into saying that “I’m not good enough” or “There are others who are better than me”. Seriously, you should admit that you have talent. Say it right now, at this very moment, aloud, in front of your laptop or mirror or even stare at your cat and shout; “I am a great and talented person”. Honestly admitting it to yourself boosts your confidence and belief to yourself. You’d be amaze with what you can do when you feel confident with your abilities.
２．） Ｙｏｕｒ ｗｏｒｋ？ Ｂｅ ｐｒｏｕｄ ｏｆ ｉｔ．
“It’s so shitty”
“I produced this trash?”
“Ugh, no one will like it”
Who the hell cares? What’s important is you did something. That’s more than nothing! You finished a piece of work, you should be proud of that. This goes back to the first number. Be confident of yourself and tell yourself, “That’s one accomplishment down and more to go!”.
３．） Ｎｏｔ ｅｖｅｒｙｔｈｉｎｇ ｙｏｕ ｄｏ ｗｉｌｌ ｔｕｒｎ
ｏｕｔ ａｓ ｙｏｕ ｐｌａｎ
There will be times where you’ll mess up or just be stuck in the moment where you regret what you’re doing. To be fair, it’s part of being an artist. Stop putting too much pressure on yourself to creating something amazing every time. Go ahead and strive for it, it should be your goal but there are times where you should realize that you’re going to do something and it’s going to suck. Let me tell you this, get over it and learn that as a lesson, try to do better next time.
４．） Ｓｔｏｐ ｃｏｍｐａｒｉｎｇ ｙｏｕｒｓｅｌｆ ｗｉｔｈ ｏｔｈｅｒ
“I’ll never be a good writer than him/her/them”
“I’ll never be as good as a singer as him/her/them”
“I’ll never be able to paint like him/her/them”
At first you wont. You will never be like them. And that’s a good thing! Every artist is unique, you have your own voice, your own style, your own artistic ways. Don’t strive to be someone else. Just be yourself!
Last of all you should be proud of yourself, because i’m pretty sure someone out there would be wishing that they were as good as you.
